For earthquake-resistant structures, the use of OPC with high early strength or Portland pozzolana cement (PPC)/Portland slag cement (PSC) is recommended, as PPC offers enhanced durability and crack resistance due to its pozzolanic reaction, which reduces micro-cracking and enhances long-term strength.
2. Proper mix design

The ideal mix should have a balance between strength and workability, with a water-cement ratio that ensures the concrete is both strong and easy to place.
